Golden Frame Productions is a wedding photography and videography business run by Simon and Julie Stein, based in Geelong, Victoria. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” means Golden Frame Productions.

Your enquiry
When you send us an enquiry through this website, we collect the details you enter:
- your first and last name, and your partner’s name if you add it
- your phone number and email address
- the service you’re after, your event or wedding date, and your venue or location
- how you heard about us, and whether you’d like news and updates
- anything you tell us in your message
We use these details to reply to you, to talk with you about your day and, if you book with us, to plan and deliver your photos and films.
Your enquiry travels over a secure (HTTPS) connection. Our email delivery service, Resend, emails it to our business inbox so we can reply to you directly. The website also keeps a short record of each enquiry (your name, contact details, the service, the date and the location) in its own database, so an enquiry isn’t lost if an email goes astray. To protect the form from spam, the website counts enquiries from each internet connection using a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, not the address itself.
If you tick “Sign up for news and updates”, we may send you occasional news from Golden Frame Productions. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Website analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people find and use our website: for example, which parts of the site are viewed, what kind of device is used, and roughly where in the world visitors are. It may record that an enquiry was sent, but never what you wrote in it. We use this to look at overall trends and improve the site. It doesn’t tell us your name or contact details.
Google Analytics uses cookies, which are small files stored by your web browser. The information is collected and stored by Google, which may store it outside Australia. Our website’s fonts are also delivered by Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to load them.

We don’t sell your information
We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it as this page describes, with the services that run our website, email and analytics, or if the law requires it. Some of these services may store information outside Australia.
Photos and films
Photography and film are what we do, so photos and video of you, your family and your guests are part of our work.

Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing [email protected]. We may need to check who you are first.
Making a complaint
If you’re concerned about how we’ve handled your personal information, please email us first and we’ll do our best to put it right. If you’re not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
