Wedding photography & films across Geelong, the Bellarine & the Surf Coast.
Start the ConversationWedding days are filled with the quiet in-between moments as much as the big celebrations - the deep breath before you walk down the aisle, the squeeze of a hand, the laughter that lingers long after the music fades.
Golden Frame Productions offers wedding photography and videography across Geelong, the Bellarine and the Surf Coast with a relaxed, romantic approach - creating timeless imagery that feels natural, refined and beautifully real.
A glimpse into the love stories captured through our lens.
There is a rhythm to a wedding day - the steadying breath before you walk down the aisle, the gentle rise of music as you take your first steps toward one another. These are real moments from real films we have made.

Our wedding films are created to preserve not just how your day looked, but how it felt.
Every film is edited with intention and elegance, blending natural audio and cinematic visuals into a seamless narrative. The result is timeless, refined and deeply personal: a film you will return to for years to come, reliving the joy, the emotion, and the beginning of your next chapter together.

"Film carries what photographs alone cannot: the sound of your voices as you exchange vows, the cadence of speeches delivered with trembling hands, the movement of fabric and light as the day shifts from afternoon to evening."
Let's Tell Your StoryPhotography that captures genuine emotion rather than posed perfection, imagery that preserves how the day felt, not just how it looked.
We photograph the ones no one asked us to.
Golden Frame Productions was created from a love of storytelling - not just the grand moments, but the quiet ones in between.
At Golden Frame Productions, film sits at the heart of what we do. We are drawn to the quiet power of moving image - the way light, sound and motion come together to preserve a moment exactly as it was felt.
More than simply documenting an event, we are here to preserve a feeling - so that years from now, you can return to it, remember it, and relive it exactly as it was.
Based in Geelong, we regularly photograph and film weddings across Geelong, the Bellarine, the Surf Coast and the Grampians, at venues like Industry 26 in Geelong West, Mount Duneed Estate, Rocklea Farm, Truffleduck, Seaview Club, Murgheboluc Hall, Portarlington Golf Club and The Warehouse Geelong. Planning your day further along the Great Ocean Road, or somewhere else entirely? We'd love to hear about it. Every location can be considered, so just ask.
The charismatic front-of-house and photography lead. Simon guides your timeline, recommends vendors, and handles every conversation from your first message to final delivery. By trade he crafts wooden windows; on wedding days he also second-shoots video alongside Julie.
The quiet force behind the lens. Photographer, videographer and editor, Julie captures the meaningful in-between moments and shapes every film's technical and design side. She learned videography in two weeks before her first wedding shoot, and never looked back. Also a kindergarten teacher and a mother; observant, warm, endlessly dedicated.
"We believe the most meaningful imagery is created when you feel completely at ease - when you are able to be fully present rather than aware of a camera."
"Laughter loud and love louder."

"Cannot recommend Simon & Julie enough! They helped plan and orchestrate a sneaky first look with the groomsmen in a dress to surprise my husband, it was hilarious and went off without a hitch! Through out the whole process they helped with planning, timings, other vendor recommendations, photo ideas and inspirations for the day. They are the loveliest and most down to earth people you will meet which helped make the day a lot less stressful. Thank you both!"

"After weeks of searching for a professional wedding photographer who was both talented and affordable, we were so glad to find Simon. From the very beginning, he was incredibly accommodating, taking the time to understand our vision and work within our budget. In the lead-up to our big day, Simon maintained excellent communication, keeping us informed and at ease throughout the entire process. On the day itself, he was flexible, professional, and a pleasure to work with. The photos he delivered were of outstanding quality, beautifully capturing every special moment. From the moment we met Simon, we knew we had made the right choice, and he truly exceeded our expectations."

Most couples book 9-18 months in advance, especially for peak seasons. Popular dates fill quickly, so locking it in early ensures you don't miss out. If your date is sooner, still reach out - there's always a chance we can make it work.
Our approach is natural, candid, and story-driven. We focus on real moments as they unfold, while also guiding you when needed so you feel comfortable in front of the camera. The goal is to create timeless images that feel like you, not forced or overly posed.
Absolutely. Most couples aren't used to being in front of a camera, and that's completely normal. We'll guide you in a relaxed, natural way so nothing feels awkward - often the best moments come from simply letting you be yourselves.
Our films are cinematic, story-driven, and focused on real emotion. We capture the day as it naturally unfolds, then craft it into something that feels like a movie - not staged, not forced, just honest and meaningful.
Yes - clear, professional audio is a huge part of what makes a wedding film powerful. We discreetly mic key moments like your vows and speeches so your film doesn't just show the day, it lets you feel it again.
Absolutely. We're experienced in working alongside other photographers, videographers and content creators, and we make sure everything runs smoothly without getting in each other's way. The goal is a seamless experience, so your photos and film come together perfectly.
Every wedding is different, but you can expect a carefully curated gallery that tells the full story of your day. We prioritise quality over quantity - meaning every image you receive is intentional, edited, and worth keeping.
Turnaround times can vary depending on the season, but you'll always receive your full gallery as soon as it's ready. We carefully edit every image to ensure consistency and quality - because your memories deserve more than a rushed job.
We create highlight films that capture the essence of your day in a way that's engaging and easy to rewatch. Length can vary depending on coverage, but the focus is always on storytelling rather than just stitching clips together.
Each film is carefully edited to match the emotion and energy of your day, so turnaround times can vary. We take the time to get it right - crafting something you'll want to watch over and over again.
